I first heard about and saw Cristiano when he played in the Euro Cup. Since then I have taped every game that I am able to see. (Here in the U.S.
It's hard to get the European soccer channels.) I watched and taped every World Cup game that Portugal played and thought Cristiano did an absolutely wonderful job.
I admire him a lot. He's a great and talented player and doesn't let his fame or soccer abilities go to his head. He puts his family first and likes to keep his life private.
Since the World Cup he has gotten a lot of negative criticism and I feel that he has handled it very well. I'd be honored to meet him some day or even see him play.
I like to collect his memorabilia.
I have his Portugal jersey, posters, t-shirts, key chains, license plate, and I even have a thong with his picture on it hehe!
