United hit Shenzhen for six Tuesday, July 24, 2007
Manchester United defeated Chinese super league side Shenzhen 6-0 in the third game of its Asian tour Monday.
Six different scorers, including a debut goal from Nani, secured the victory, which could have easily been in double figures.
The first half was a stroll for United. They dominated possession, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney often producing moments of show boating.
Ryan Giggs scored the opener after being unselfishly put through by Rooney. Giggs returned the favour for Rooney to double the lead on 20 minutes. The Welshman then superbly set up debutant Nani, who coolly hit home with a first timer.
Defender John O'Shea, Ronaldo and Chris Eagles completed the tally for the English Premier League champions, who finish their tour Friday when they face Guangzhou Pharmaceutical.
