Real Coach Expresses Ronaldo Admiration Saturday May 14, 2005

Real Madrid manager Wanderley Luxemburgo has revealed he would be tempted to make an approach for Manchester United and Portugal winger Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 20-year-old has been heavily linked with Real over the past few months as club president Florentino Perez sees the international as a potential galactico.
Real, who were knocked out of the Champions League by Juventus in just the second phase of the competition, are desperate to strengthen their squad to match the prowess arch-rivals Barcelona have shown throughout the La Liga season.
''Of course I like players such as Joaquin [of Real Betis] or Cristiano Ronaldo,'' conceded Luxemburgo.
Luxemburgo believes both Joaquin and Ronaldo have been restricted freedom to roam by playing out on the wing. ''I believe that leaving them to play out on the wing limits their capacity to perform,'' he added.
The Red Devils have been linked with Real's Portuguese star Luis Figo recently and could be used as bait in such a deal.
