Cristiano Ronaldo and Nemanja Vidic are expected to be fit enough to claim a place in the Manchester United squad for tomorrow night's Champions League clash with Sporting Lisbon.

The duo were not expected to be available for the match due to respective thigh and back injuries.

However, they have been able to take part in training with the rest of the squad and are expected to be available for the match if Alex Ferguson decides to include them in his team.
