Ronaldo lookalike meet his hero

A Cristiano Ronaldo lookalike was so obsessed with meeting his hero that he flew 900 miles from his home in Slovenia in a bid to meet him.

Football mad Aldin Ahmetovic camped for four days outside Manchester United's training ground in a bid to spot the Portuguese player.

The 16-year-old's efforts paid off when the sports star introduced himself and gave him a tour of the grounds.

Aldin burst into tears of joy when he finally met the 24-year-old soccer ace, who came out to meet his eager fan.

He told The Sun newspaper: ' It was like a dream. He is my hero and I modelled myself on him.

'He gave me loads of signed stuff and said it was the best lookalike he'd seen. It shows what a nice guy he is.'

The 16-year-old, who bares a striking resemblance to the football star, is now hoping to make a career posing as a Ronaldo lookalike.

Meanwhile Ronaldo is believed to have signed a Ł500,000 advertising deal with Clear shampoo.
