Real Madrid veteran Raul has heaped praise on Cristiano Ronaldo for his attitude and professionalism.
"It would be boring if everyone were equal,” Raul said, according to AS.
“He is one of the best professionals I've seen. He’s a winner, someone who does not want to miss a game. He says what he thinks, but he also has a mindset that is focused on the collective.”
Ronaldo has enjoyed a fantastic first season in La Liga since his world-record breaking €94 million move from Manchester United last summer and smashed in a hat-trick last night as Real Madrid beat Mallorca 4-1 to keep the pressure on Barcelona at the top of La Liga.
Raul went on to reveal how impressed he has been with the former FIFA World Player of the Year’s professionalism and heralded him as a leader.
“He is the first to arrive and the last leave training. I see him and say to myself, ‘I have to train harder'. He’s a wonderful guy, a total leader.”
