Ronaldo dreaming of World Cup glory
Sunday, June 27, 2010

Ronaldo dreaming of World Cup gloryPortugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo says it doesn't matter who they play as they continue their pursuit of World Cup glory against Spain after their scoreless draw with Brazil was enough to book their place in the knock-out phase of the competition and keep their dream of glory alive.

Ronaldo declared that a draw against Brazil was a fair result and also reminded coach Carlos Queiroz that he does not enjoy the lone strikers role that he fulfilled against Dunga's side.

"I think a draw was a fair result. There were some good opportunities for both teams, so I think the draw was just," he said.

"The boss knows it is not my position. It is true that I play less when in the lone position up front but the important thing is that we have qualified."

Now that their place in the knock-out phase is secured Ronaldo is dreaming of going all the way to glory and says he will improve in the tournament.

"I am confident, I think I can give more. We sorted that [qualification from Group G] and now we dream. We will try to win against whoever comes. Now we dream," he declared.
